Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her top aides are trying to keep it simple for the home state of the first woman president, the Wall Street Journal reports.
“Our campaign has been very clear about the fact that we believe that cybersecurity is our top priority, and we are going to be making sure that we are taking the appropriate steps to make sure that the state of New York is not left behind,” the campaign said in a statement.
“We will also be working to strengthen our cyber capabilities and help states and localities be successful in their cybersecurity efforts.”
Clinton has said her goal is to secure the nation’s critical infrastructure, including critical infrastructure for our electrical grid, water supply, telecommunications, and more.
Her campaign is also working to “ensure that New Yorkers are confident that their financial and healthcare information is secure,” according to the Wall St Journal.
